The Happy Wanderer Holiday Resort is situated at Wartook Valley on the Western Side of the Grampians.
The Resort is a privately owned tourist complex 40 acre bushland style with resident kangaroos, visiting emus and a wide variety of birds.
Happy Wanderer is situated on the sunny side of the mountain with breath-taking views of the spectacular surrounding mountains and provides a quiet, relaxing ‘retreat’ for couples and families.
Happy Wanderer is also the Licensed Grocer and Fuel stop for the area, and also have driving maps, walking maps and a variety of Postcards and Souvenirs.

- Route 1. 269km post. Ararat, Stawell, Mt. Zero Laharum, Wartook Valley. Turn off just past Dadswells Bridge. Recommended for night driving.
- Route 2. 254km post. Ararat, Stawell, Roses Gap Road, Wartook Valley. Not Recommended for night driving.
